Common questions
- How do I set Lumen as my wallpaper?
- Open Lumen and tap “Set wallpaper”. You can also go to your device’s Settings → Wallpaper → Live wallpapers and pick Lumen from the list. The exact path varies a little between Android versions and manufacturers.
- Will it drain my battery?
- The wallpaper only animates while it is actually on screen. When your display is off, or another app is in the foreground, it stops drawing.
- Does it need an internet connection?
- No. Lumen works entirely offline and makes no network requests at all.
- What data do you collect about me?
- None. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no crash reporting, and nothing ever leaves your device. The privacy policy spells this out in full.
- The wallpaper looks wrong or stutters on my device.
- Email us with your device model and Android version and we will take a look. Android live wallpaper behaviour differs a fair bit across manufacturers, so specifics help.
